The Problem: 
Door Dash is seeking help driving sign-ups and buzz for the company's DashPass monthly subscriptions, which bags free shipping.

Our Findings: 
Few delivery people in NYC have medical insurance though they brave the city's famously mean streets, mostly on two-wheels

The Solution: 
The true measure of a company's ethics lies in its actions, not just its words 




DashPass Protect


The company partners with its DashPass subscribers to finance an accident insurance program free to delivery people. DoorDash itself would pay the bulk of the cost, but if IO-percent of a DashPass subscription went to this cause, it could be a team effort .
We found that delivery workers do not exclusively work for DoorDash, so DashPassProtect would be extended to any food delivery person. 

DashPassProtect goes beyond just delivering food. It's about delivering compassion, security, and peace of mind to the brave delivery heroes who conquer NYC's mean streets every day.

To generate buzz, we launch a social media campaign using a dedicated hash tag and encourage users to share their stories, photos, and videos highlighting their positive experiences with delivery workers. 
We feature a selection of these posts on the company's social media platforms, amplifying the recognition and appreciation for delivery heroes. 


“Delivery Day"
Designate a specific day to celebrate and recognize the hard work of delivery workers nationwide and invite the competition to support as well! 
Demonstrate a commitment to the safety and well-being of delivery workers by providing safety equipment such as reflective vests, helmets, and lights to enhance visibility during their deliveries. Additionally, offer training programs and resources on safe riding practices, road safety, and accident prevention. Partner with local businesses, restaurants, and retailers nationwide to offer special discounts or perks to delivery workers on this designated day.
